What is COMAH?
COMAH aka Control of Major Accident Hazards, is enforced by the Competent Authority in Great Britain to ensure the necessary measures are in place to prevent major accidents with hazardous substances from occurring and limit the consequences to people and the environment. COMAH provides detailed procedures which are to be followed in order for safety to be achieved across all levels.
Being a newbie to the world of COMAH can be a bit of a minefield. At TÜV Rheinland we often see such issues around companies who have just become a COMAH site and are unaware of the requirements of COMAH and employees who are newly employed to COMAH sites.

Who is this for?
The course is aimed at delegates who are new entrants into Upper Tier COMAH with little to no experience in COMAH. The course will be delivered through a mixture of presentations and syndicate tasks.
What prior study is recommended?
A basic understanding of the course subject area is beneficial but not essential.
