Who is this for?
This course is aimed at delegates of all backgrounds who either require an introduction to or a refresher in the essentials of process safety. The course would be particularly beneficial to graduate engineers, technicians, engineers and managers who want to enhance their understanding of process safety.
What prior study is recommended?
A basic understanding of the course subject area is beneficial but not essential.
At the end of the course you should be able to:
- A basic awareness of process safety and the types of hazardous events that are assessed
- An appreciation of the importance of a thorough hazard identification and risk assessment process
- An basic understanding of the UK COMAH Regulations and the principle of ALARP
