
TĆV Rheinland have extensive experience of providing process safety services, including training, to high hazard establishments, across a range of industries including biomass storage, handling and power stations.
This course provides an understanding of hazards associated with biomass handling. It will provide delegates with an appreciation of legal / regulatory requirements / drivers. It will also address previous incidents in the industry to provide an insight into root causes and necessary prevention / control / mitigation measures.
The training will also include workshops where scenarios will be developed and emergency response assessed / evaluated for personnel to gain an appreciation of the most appropriate course of action to be taken to avoid the potential for scenario escalation which has occurred in the industry.
