TÜV Rheinland brings UK industrial services businesses together as TÜV Rheinland Solutions
Risktec Solutions, TÜV Rheinland Industrial Services and the industrial services operations of TÜV Rheinland UK will unite under one company from 1 September 2026.
United Kingdom, September 1st, 2026. TÜV Rheinland is bringing together Risktec Solutions Limited, TÜV Rheinland Industrial Services Limited and the industrial services operations of TÜV Rheinland UK under a single company, TÜV Rheinland Solutions Limited, effective 1 September 2026.
The move marks an important step in the development of TÜV Rheinland’s UK business. By combining these operations under one organisation, the company is expanding its capabilities in risk, safety and engineering services and making it easier for clients to access a broader range of expertise. As part of the change, Risktec’s international subsidiaries will also adopt the TÜV Rheinland Solutions name.
Broader capability for clients
TÜV Rheinland Solutions will bring together over 400 employees in the UK and provide services across risk and safety consultancy, inspection, asset integrity management, project and design services, training, and specialist resourcing. “This is an important milestone for our UK business,” said Steven Roach, Co-Managing Director of TÜV Rheinland Solutions. “Bringing our teams together under TÜV Rheinland Solutions will allow us to offer clients broader capability while continuing to provide the high-quality support they know from our existing businesses.”
Operating from 15 offices in the UK as well as multiple international locations, the combined business supports more than 300 clients in over 65 countries across sectors such as chemicals, clean energy, nuclear, oil and gas, transport and financial services. Its services cover hazard identification and modelling, risk assessment, safety analysis and justification, asset life extension, multidisciplinary engineering support from concept to operation, and technical training.
Within inspection services, TÜV Rheinland Solutions examines more than 10,000 items of client equipment each year. Its UKAS-accredited team provides pressure equipment inspections for operators and manufacturers across the UK, alongside specialist inspection services for storage tanks and civil and structural assets. The company also uses digital tools, including its Smart RBI (Risk-Based Inspection) tool, to support technical experts in planning inspection, maintenance, repair and replacement activities.
