PSM Auditing
PSM auditing is a legal requirement. PSM Auditing is a proactive tool to help prevent or reduce the likelihood of Major Accident Hazards. Effective auditing can also help identify good and best practice approaches for PSM implementation and thereby help improve business efficiencies and effectiveness. PSM Systems Auditing is aimed at ensuring that both the appropriate systems are in place and that compliance with the system is happening.
Process Safety incidents continue to occur throughout industry. As industry develops a path to net zero there will be a large amount of change in the industrial landscape. With change brings an element of risk. In process safety terms there will be new entrants to the COMAH regulations, there will be changes in process technology and designs and there will be some substances whose use will increase (e.g. hydrogen) and which will present risks to personnel and the environment.
